This is a great battery, I use it in my ebike. Great product. In fact I've got two loaded into the ebike. I can take the charger, which is very light, with me in my backpack and plug in the battery while I sit at the restaurant/bar, Each on recharges in about 15 min.
extension cords either up ladders or tied onto scissor and bucket lifts. The only thing that I could slightly complain about is the overall weight of the drill and battery together when drilling above your head. I have been in construction as a Union Pipefitter for 23yrs. However, with the equal power of the 110v and not dragging extension cords around through the tightest of places, I am getting used to the extra weight real quick. I have used the Bosch 110v cord drills for many years without any problems except dragging 100ft. Like other Bosch hammer drills, it is smooth, quick, and rugged. This 36 volt cordless was the answer to it all.
Most of our piping is hung from expansion shields in concrete from above. The less volt battery drills have a slight problem getting through metal decking under the concrete, and battery charge does not last long. Great drill. I have used this every day for a week with one battery, before I needed to change it.
They boasted that you could run the saw with the Fatpak battery on a pro framing job on one battery all day without a charge. I bought the 36 volt Fatpak for the Bosch Cordless Circular Saw after reading a review in Tools Of The Trade magazine. I didn't even take out my corded saw, and this battery did the job. Well let me tell you, I actually worked all day and 2 hours the next day before charging the Fatpak, cutting plywood, 2x stock, ripping 2x stock, you name it. I had already owned a couple of the Bosch 36 volt Slimpaks and they have been very long lasting, sometimes I get through a full day at work with out charging. They were not kidding, I have had numerous cordless circular saws over the years, and they were all ok for trim, or quick cuts up on a ladder or roof, but they would never replace a corded saw. I would give it 10 stars if I could. The battery just didn't last long enough for long use.
drills 1/4 inch holes like a champ all day long. as in more power and longer battery life than any dewalt or hilti I've ever used. 1/2 inch holes drain the juice fast. wouldn't try bigger.all in all the best cordless roto I've ever used for overall power/battery life ratio.
I've bought it together with bosch 36v hammer drill - to have interchangeable batteries. now i'm doing my job (satellite installs) a way faster. And it works. 110% satisfied. Before was using DeWalt 18v hammer drill + corded bosch rotary hammer for hard walls.
