Editorial Reviews:

This is a reconditioned power tool. Reconditioned generally means that the tool has been returned to the manufacturer, who brings the tool back to like new condition. Some tools may contain cosmetic blemishes. The Bostitch MIIIFS is a Factory Reconditioned 3/8" Flooring Stapler Kit. The compact, mallet-actuated air stapler automatically positions and drives staples for rapid installation of hardwood flooring. It secures the flooring at the proper angle and penetration without the danger of hammer marring. By simply resting the nose of the machine squarely against the work, the direction and angle of the staple is automatically aligned. The stapler is easily adjusted to handle different flooring thickness or tongue positions. It has an aluminum body for job site durability.

User Comments about the Factory-Reconditioned Bostitch U/MIIIFS 1-1/2-inch to 2-inch Pneumatic Flooring Stapler

Several people have obviously made this mistake, causing Amazon's computers to attach them on this page. Most Pneumatic fasteners I've use can use either nails or staples. The section titled Frequently Purchased Together includes FLN-200 Nails. This one ONLY uses staples, so don't get the nails. Frustrating and I don't see a way to let Amazon know so they can fix the issue. I did a great deal of prep work, gathered tools, got everything ready, only to find that I bought the wrong fasteners.

Amazon is not actually saying that the FLN-200 is the correct fastener, but it is quite misleading that they show it as a "frequently bought together" item. On the stapler page, there is a section entitled "Frequently bought together" and it lists the FLN-200 nails. I haven't used the stapler yet so I am giving it three stars and here's why. Note: THESE ARE NOT THE RIGHT FASTENERS FOR THIS TOOL. Don't make the same mistake I did and buy the wrong nails. The correct fastener is the BCS-1500 staple.

This is not a RECONDITIONED. Bostitch doesn't. Pros: 1. If I put what I received on Craiglist today, I would say "six out of 10", in terms of condition; or something like "extensively used, but might still in working order".3. It is a stapler.Cons:1. I don't expect them to be brand new, although most decent manufacturers repair and clean the item to almost brand new. I bought tons of stuff from Ebay, Amazon, Craigslist and other place.

Amazon shipped it fast.2. It is a terribly used, uncleaned, stained, malfunctional unit with missed accessories.2. Any piece of paper in my trash box is in a better condition that the document that came with the item. When something that is stated as refurbished or reconditioned, it is in reasonable condition.

floor stapler worked great to put in 800 sq. ft hardwood floor, my family took turns using it, very easy to use.

the Home Depot. Unfortunately, the stapler that was sent was totally defective. Returned the item with no problem. So far the new stapler has worked flawlessly. Bought a new Bostitch Pneumatic Stapler locally as there was no price difference online vs.
