User Comments about the Milwaukee 49-24-0280 V28 28-Volt Lithium-Ion Job Site Radio

Great radio I use it inside but it is nice to know I can take it anywhere with a battery I would recommend it to everyone.

He hasn't had it for long, but he loves it so far. I bought this on behalh of my boyfriend. He loves it so far. no problems or dislikes as yet. It gets a ton of stations, is durable (so far).

Great sound from radio and when I connect my Ipod to it. Beat the home improvement places prices for sure. 14.4 volt battery pack from my drill lasted a couple weeks before needing charge (I'd say 8 hours total play nice and loud during those couple weeks). Can't beat the price here especially with free shipping.

I've got an airport express rubber-banded to it, cabled into the mini audio in.I unplug it, move it, plug it in and it remembers its EG settings (punch thing, 3 different bass settings, fine) and mode (aux in) and volume.rockford fosgate amp delivers, 22w each and that's a low rating, its a great portable mac client now.

But that can easily be fixed by using a portable cd player with the aux jack on the side of the radio. It is well constructed to take the abuse of a job site right down to the rubber antenna. This radio has definitely served me well. Anyone who has ever taken their radio on a job site knows that the antenna is the first thing to break which usually leaves it completely unusable until someone brings a wire clothes hanger to substitute as an antenna. You can then store the cd player and cd's in the handy sack attached to the back of the radio. It has a power cord when power is available and it also uses batteries from your Milwaukee tool set which lasts for a surprisingly long while. The only downside to this radio is that it doesn't have a built in cd player.
