By the way, the Vermont American/Bosch technical support was outstanding. It works great for this application. I bought this blade upon recommendation from Bosch to cut melamine coated particle board. The blade entry side finishes perfectly with no chipping, and the blade exit side has mimimal chipping. I wrote a question to their e-mail address, and someone called me to discuss my application in detail to make sure that the blade they recommended would meet my needs. Cutting plywood yields the same results.
