The only recommendation I could possibly make would be to move the saftey plunger behind port where staples exit; this might make accurate staple placement a little easier. Fit and finish are excellent. As all Milwaukee products, this stapler is very well made. The belt hook is a nice feature. Well satisfied with the purchase. Have only used this gun a few times now, but it has performed flawlessly.
The first is that mine did not come with the anti-mar piece that fits over the actuation plunger. Then it is back to normal. This Milwaukee stapler has worked pretty well and has saved me a lot of work. I have been using only brand name staples, so can't imagine that is the issue. I do have two minor complaints. The next one may be fine, or it may take two or three tries. The second issue is that when using the smaller sized staples - 3/8" and 1/2" - it will occasionally misfire.
A far cry from having to use a manual stapler. This would help to minimize the amount of surface marks on the finished product. Even with this irritation, I would never go back to doing it the old way. It doesn't jam - just no staple is fired.
So I was a little hesitant to purchase it. The attached built clip is a nice touch as well. This stapler is very light weight but it just feels so solid and well-built. This stapler costs significantly less than comparable tools at the brick and mortars. After all, Milwaukee's claim to fame is the Sawzall, not air tools. I've used it in a project already re-screening my back porch and I'm looking forward to the next project that requires a stapler.I have a new-found respect for Milwaukee tools after this purchase. But I took a shot and I'm glad I did.
Nice little quality gun. Would absolutely buy again. Now has me raising some eyebrows to other Milwaukee guns.
I've had half a dozen narrow crown staplers and worn them all out. The price was right and the stapler seems like a good one. I've used this one a few times now and have been pleased. One nice feature is that it stops sending the plunger down when it runs out of staples.
