User Comments about the Fein 63502133030 1-3/8-Inch Standard E-Cut Blade 3 pack

These blades cost more than three times as much at our local (100 miles away) store. the metal blades cut wood almost just as well and are not destroyed by that nail. They cut soft and hard woods well until they hit a nail or something.

product cuts soft metal well but screws and nails just okay; blades do not last long and are relatively expensive

WE PURCHASED THE FEIN TOOL (AND THESE ADDITIONAL BLADES) JUST AS WE WERE BEGINNGING FINISHING OUR BASEMENT - THIS TOOL REALLY CAME IN HANDY AS A CUTOFF SAW FOR CORNERS OF TRIM THAT WOULD BE VERY DIFFICULT TO CUT TO THE CORRECT SIZE BEFORE INSTALLATION - WE WERE ABLE TO MAKE THE CUTS AFTER INSTALLATION. GREAT TOOL.

What can I say. Thanks. I purchased them for my husband, who is restoring a boat, and he loves them. Perfect for the job he is doing.

For old house restoration this tool and these blades are a "must have" item. Not a substitute for circular and saber saws- but once in a while you need the type of cut that only this saw blade can perform ( thight, small spaces- door jams, etc). I kind of wish someone else would offer a slightly cheaper alternative. These original blades work well, though.
