I have a eforcity car charger. I dont have USA plugSo I bought car charger to USA plug converter(SEM-AC/DC: AC Wall Plug to 12V DC Auto Plug Adapter (Purchased on 01/17/2010)) when i keep all this combinations its not working.
Sorry, it may be usable for lighter items. Purchased the power supply to be able to use my GPS in the house. Either it is a defect or doesn't have enough power. Don't know what will draw less current. Will check further when our four feet of snow goes away and I can get out.
I needed this device so i could power my radar detector in the house to update its software. Additionally, I tried to see if it would power my Garmin GPS when that unit was plugged in and it would not. This product did not provide adequate power to operate my radar detector.
Including shipping cost less than $3 each. Bought three of these hoping they were good products. Gave one each to kids and kept one for wife and I. Now when I travel I just stick this in the shaving kit and when I get to hotel take car charger inside and with this adapter I have a travel charger as well.Thanks Work like a charm and eliminate the need to have separate chargers for car and for home.
This adapter allows me to have a 12v car outlet in the house to keep the GPS and other things charged. Very good value. I have kept it plugged in a power strip to test its endurance and it has been working well. It is limited to around 600mA output (7w) and is adequate and should not be overloaded.
