This Makita battery lasts forever. AMAZON your'e the greatest. I bought this one to go with my 18 volt kit.

Makita continues to impress me with it's cordless 18V equipment. Working on small projects I still prefer the 1.5Ah battery due to weight but a drill or impact driver with the BL1830 is still very light weight. I have the drill kit that came with 2 1.5Ah batteries so when I purchased the BTD181 impact driver I felt I needed a third battery for when 2 people are using tools at the same time.This 3.0Ah battery seems to never need to be recharged. It holds it's charge for a very long time.

I use these battery a lot and it keep doing GREAT job.I will recommend to all my friends to buy this kind.

The issue is price. My old 1.5 AH batteries that came w/ my impact and drill are tired. I got a good price w/ shipping included.

I found this battery to be excellent as it was received. Of course, the real test will be, how long does it last.
