Editorial Reviews:

The Metal Devil saw blade is the fastest, easiest, and coolest way to cut through ferrous and nonferrous metals. Metal Devil blades have hardened steel plates for durability. The blades cut cool and do not transfer heat to the inner plate, so you can pick

User Comments about the MK Morse CSM72560AC Metal Devil 7-1/4" Aluminum Cutting Circular Saw Blade

I used this blade to cut Alumimun and it worked great. If you run them too fast the blade will lose some teeth. You need to make sure the RPM on this blade matches your saw. These are designed for low rpm and hi torque saws.

I used this in my tablesaw to cut 1/4" and 1/2" aluminum plate, as well as some 80/20 extrusions. I had no problems and the cuts were clean and true with a shot of cutting fluid. I believe it was all 6061.

They have all held up well, but eventually dulled (as expected). On the fourth cut the blade self destructed, losing several carbides and teeth. The first three cuts were very fine and clean. As a point of reference, I have used several 7-1/4" aluminum cutting blades before in building my 49' aluminum sailboat. I only used this blade for cutting staight sections of 3/8" aluminum in a cutting fixture (previous blades had been used exactly the same way and often a lot harder). I would not recommend this blade for anyone cutting anything thicker than 1/8", if that. No side loads or free hand cutting at all.
