I needed another smaller scroll chuck and the PSI BarracudaII was a great choice. It perfoms flawlessly and I would reccomend it to anyone.
This is an outstanding chuck. Because of the gearing down you get, you will find that you've got enough force to crush delicate bottoms of bowls or - in expansion mode - blow pieces of wood apart.The point being that, like with a good glue - the limiting factor is not going to be in this tool, it's going to be the wood that you're turning.My only complaint is that I have three different jaw sets, and it's a pain to switch them out - I would really like to buy two more chuck bodies, so that I never have to switch. It is absolutely massive, and grips tenaciously.
The stronghold chuck was everything I'd hoped for. OneWay must have not shipped right after I ordered and then they sent it the slowest way, but it got here in great shape and I'm very pleased. The price from Amazon was better than anywhere. The only criticism is that the shipping took too long to reach me.
