If you need more power, more torque or longer battery life then the 14.4-volt Skil Reconditioned 2566-02 is the drill/driver for you. The 2566-02 Recon has high torque for driving or removing screws and bolts, variable speed for drilling hardened surfaces or for starting screws without a pilot hole, and a visible forward/reverse indicator. When selecting a drill/driver look for value, power, ease of handling, battery recharge time, added features and accessories. You should expect any battery-operated drill/driver to come with a keyless chuck, battery charger and bits, and this one does, but it also has nifty bit storage that slides right off the top of the unit. Especially handy is the built-in bit index - no more guessing at which bit is needed for which screw. Simply place a screw in the index and you¿ll find the bit size you will need. The Skil Reconditioned 2566-02 includes a 14.4-volt Ni-Cad battery which has more power and a longer operating time than similar 12-volt units, a battery charge indicator light to let you know how much power is in reserve and a 3-hour charger all in a handy carrying case.
