Thats what i like about Bosch, their products are well thought out. Having purchased the PowerBox and then being able to add an Ipod to it makes sense.With other radio's i would have had to rig some kind of attachment to get this result.
Works but causes a loud feedback hum on the Bosch radio resulting in a less than quality sound. From a convience standpoint,would probably purchase again. Somewhat overpriced but does solve the problem of protecting your Ipod.
I had my doubts about how well this would work. I would recommend this to everyone. The door is a little hard to open but I think that is a good thing. I'm in the construction field and subject my radio to some tough conditions. It works flawless. It really does expand the versatility of your ipod. The dock stays secure to my radio and i've never had dirt enter and get to my ipod.
This thing works great. Maybe by the time you read this they will be. The only thing I could see improving it would be the addition of an ipod remote so you don't have to open the door to choose a track. A minor gripe considering we generally just hit the shuffle button and let the thing play all day.It comes with a bunch of adapters for different models but it looks like the new ones (Nano 3rd gen and iPod touch) are not supported.
The item is just what I wanted and arrived promptly. However, the original packaging was broken open.
