These are excellent blades, a good general use selection and at the sale price I paid a very good buy.
Each blade type cuts very quickly, yet smoothly. These are the best jigsaw blades that I have used and are definitely worth the price. They also stay sharp through many cuts.
I'm also afraid of what this may have done to the blade tips themselves. Tool Crib are you listening. The other reviews have the count of blades correct. put it in the main description. My only complaint is that these ship in a ziplock back with no padding to protect the blades, they are not carded like the 3, 4 and 5 packs. but can see no problems. So, by the time they get to you will have rubbed together enough to have lost a little of their paint, and thus you may have trouble for example telling the T118A from the T118B.
Jig saw blades are something that needs to be renewed due to the unusual material and positions we put them through, so you might as well buy a pack and save the money. Exercise caution when using them. The instructions tell you to wear gloves when installing them. I don't have another blade in any category that are as sharp as these.
Oops. It was so smooth and even, that I only touched it lightly with a sanding block and 120 grit to produce a factory edge. I am using these on a Bosch jig saw, that I can not say enough about. You can't beat the price. Now I wear gloves. These blades work well, I understand, on any jig saw that takes the T-blade style. Here it is:On the side of these blades is imprinted "Bosch" and "Swiss Made" (for Bosch) These blades are scary sharp. Everything is cheaper by the dozen.
Of course this makes for a great jig saw blade. With three different levels of coarseness, you can meet any task. The 30 pack has ten of each, coarse, medium and fine. See item description. With a 4x8 leftover edge of a piece of plywood as my guide, I used the jig saw to cut an edge on a piece of MDF. Since it applies as well to the assorted 30 pack for metal and woodworking, I thought I would submit it as well.
One of the blades touched, or should I say just glanced lightly against my finger, and my skin immediately created a fine shred. This is a review I wrote for the 30 pack of woodworking blades. These things are definitely sharp. I bought the Bosch metal cutting blades for the jig saw as well.
The 30 pack enables you to buy a blade that is way sharper and resilient than any other jig saw blade I have ever used, and at a price that can't be beat. That is saying something for a jig saw. My ego told me different, so I skipped the gloves. They effortlessly go through material.
Just be sure and wear some gloves when changing them, or concentrate on only touching the back edge. The assorted pack gives you metal and woodworking blades.
Need a Jig-saw blade. I have no regrets with this purchase. This pack from Bosch has blades for almost any need. Smooth cutting and so far, very sturdy.
