I really like this tool. I can see using this tool a lot, it has all the power and speed you need around a home. I used the grinding wheel to smooth the cut edges so they would not puncture my liner, worked great. I thought, there is no way I want a plastic gearbox cover on a grinder. I bought this tool locally and it came without a case, but I needed it the day I bought it.

THe quick change feature is nice but you still have to use the provided tool. There were two available one 7.5 amp with a black plastic gearbox and this one 10 amp with a METAL gear box cover. I was installing a chimney liner and the cast iron damper assembly was in the way and I had to remove a portion of it. If this lasts as long as my dewalt drill I will be very happy. It cut through the cast iron with ease, I wish the cutoff disks were as good as the grinder; I went through many of these, 1 per 4.5 inches of cut.

It's built like a tank with enough power to grind down the Titanic. Highly recommend it. Superb craftsmanship, ergonomic controls.

I love Dewalt tools, so maybe I am a little biased. It has been very handy to have around. I have had no problems with this tool.

But except for the picture that shows a case with it I'd like to know what is included with the Kit. Because the separate guards and blades and a case would add up if you can even buy a case for one. So didn't ditch the stars down on product. I'm surfing for this item. So if the list appears later on.great I've done some good.As for the product it is what we want.just wanted more details since other vendors carry it for same or similar price range.

With or without a kit. Is there a safety guard for it. The pictures aren't that clear. And it helps to see a spelled out list of what is included with it.I'll buy one of these and probably would have bought this one today but without the information I'm off to another site who does spell out the information.Sometimes when you leave this type of message for the seller they correct that and I suspect helps them sell the item too.

After much research, I decided to purchase the DeWalt angle grinder because of the brand reliability and quality. The quick-release guard makes it very easy to change positions, and helps to get it out of the way to tighten the disc as well.Construction is solidly made, and will definitely recommend the DeWalt product line. The price was comparable to other brands of lesser quality, and the kit comes with a case which is very convenient.The product has gotten lots of abuse in cutting brick pavers, cutting of bolts, and grinding.
