User Comments about the Blitz Rhino Ramp 8000

I also didn't pay enough attention to the overall rise the ramps would provide.I would like to be able to lift my car another 2-3 inches. They are very light, portable and easy to store. The product served my immediate need to replace an O2 sensor in my car without taking it to the dealership. I was a little concerned with their overall strength. They were inexpensive, i'll definitely get use out of them as long as I have my small car but in the future i'll probably try to buy this type of item in person. While i felt mostly safe with them supporting my VW Jetta I wouldn't feel as comfortable with them holding up a mid-large size car.

Toyota Scion Xa 2005. These might work in level hard packed gravel. On the first use one of the ramps slid and broke. but on a smooth level dry clean garage floor they slide too easy and are not safe.

It was a small car and these things are suppose to be good for 8000 lbs. The problem with these is they are plastic and light weight. I followed the directions exactly. You would be much better off with metal steel ramps that have some weight to them at any price.

Users will notice that each ramp feels very solid / stable with rubber stops on the underside (to help reduce the likelihood of each slipping). Unlike some of the cheap looking variants sitting on the shelves at the local express auto store, these Rhino Ramps are of exceptional quality. These Rhino Ramp 8000's are still too tall to allow my vehicle from rolling up without the use of additional extensions. My vehicle (VW R32) has a little over 5" of clearance [from ground to front lip]. I purchased these ramps after reading a number of positive reviews online. I read some reviews stating that these ramps worked well for [even] lowered vehicles. -1 stars for being somewhat inconvenient in that the two ramps can not be stacked or stored with a minimal footprint. Those claims are true depending on how far out your front bumper is from the front wheels.

You could probably buy a nonslip rubber mat to put under them to keep them from sliding on concrete. I bought these ramps so I could get under my Firebird, the metal ramps are too steep. So far the Rhino Ramps have performed great, even though they could be a little more sturdy. For $35 I can't complain too much. I haven't had any of the sliding problems mentioned above, but I also use mine mostly on grass.

Nothing to complain about. I even had a Malibu sitting on the edge and it thankfully didn't crack.I hope it will hold up in the cold as it has in the summer. It does what it says without any problems.
