I am a retired veterinarian. I found their quality to be very good, and an excellent value for the price. Hemostats can be useful for a variety of things around the house or campground; I bought these as a result of the one recommendation published.
I bought this these forceps as a recomendation from our veterinarian. We have a yorkshire terrier and the veterinarian showed me that every so often we have to pluck the hair from the inside of his ears by grasping the hair with the forceps and twisting them until the hair came free. I think it's a lot less painful than useing plain old tweezers which yank at the hair-ouch. This sounds painful but after the first time our dog seemed fine with it.
