Have used them once only. It's a great starter set. They are made well and appear sturdy. I'm not sure how I will use both pipe clamps yet.

Can't think of any complaints, other than the spring clamps may have a bit too much tension for softwood projects--may depress and dent the wood (even with pads), but I can't say for sure yet, since I haven't used them for such projects. Solidly built and with a nice range of sizes, this package of clamps is very satisfying. Heavy weight and easy to use. This kit is just right for me, anyway. Perfect for a wide range of small to medium size projects.

This is a very good kit. I recommend this kit. Well built and has filled a void in my clamp collection. I use them on a fairly regular basis and have been very happy with them.

That's why I like the bar clamps with the lever thing that must pushed to slide the clamp to a more open position. Good set. However, I would get the type of bar clamps that have the lever thing in the back that stops the clamp from opening when loose. I can't recommend another set because I didn't buy my other clamps. The bessey bar clamps sometimes do not get tighter with only turning because slider hasn't "bitten" in yet.

I'm new to wood working and found this set at the Woodworking Show when it came to my area. I always heard Bessy was a good brand, but now I can definitely say they really are. I found it, looked at the contents, saw the price, thought about it for a second and the slapped my money on the counter. This is a wonderful set for someone who either has little to no clamps or is looking to expand their current clamp set.
