This kit is perfect for the home shop. Wow. It has a number of handy accessories including a great thin case that fits perfectly in a tool box or roll away.No brass parts, as indicated, but who wants to handle brass all day long.The one coupler included is of lessor quality as is the tire gauge (my reason for dropping a star) but everything worked great and no leaks.Major plus was the overnight shipping from Amazon. I ordered it at night and had it the next morning by 10 AM.
Comes with plastic case that's very handy. Very good starter kit for the price. You can upgrade as you go along.
After purchase, I discovered like items at the local big box hardware store. I purchased it along with a compressor for convenience sake. Tapping it on the ground solves the problem. I have had some trouble with the tire inflation tool 'sticking' in the open position after filling a tire. The items in this kit suit my need. This 25 piece kit is on the lower end of the quality spectrum but so is its price. In short, not bad for the price and convenience. The items it contains seem to be a good mix for the general use my compressor receives.
Therefore, I either need a 5/8" to 1/2" adapter or a 5/8" quick connect fitting, neither of which are supplied in this kit. However, there are no brass parts, as the figure suggests, and the pressure gauge is so flimsy you might as well toss it after opening the box. This kit has many useful parts. More importantly, there is ONLY 1 quick connect fitting with 1/2" threads (I would have liked several) and THERE ARE NO 5/8" to 1/2" adapters. Now I need to head to the store to buy these items to make my fitting accessories complete. Many long pressure hoses come in 3/8" diameter with 5/8" fittings.
Kit was delivered on time and had all the equipment needed for the compressor that was purchased.
