User Comments about the Makita 845046-A MForce2 Heavy Duty Work Gloves - M

They let me pick up needles and granules, but they also protect me when I use impact hammers with impunity. But still, I love these gloves. Two sizes up. There are 2 new pairs in my tool kit, waiting, but my first pair are still going strong after two years of hard labor. I have a lot of gloves, but these are the best.

That's what you have to do. Ever. They are the best gloves ever, except that they are way too small. Just buy them two sizes larger than you think you need. I am an 8 1/2, which means that I wear a large, except with these I wear an XXL.

In particular, this glove prides itself on a host of little protective nubbins and pads on the back of the hand. If you are like me and simply wear out gloves on a weekly basis, then skip the expense and go for the more ordinary-looking inexpensive gloves. I have reviewed several gloves recently. All of them are essentially as "disposable" as the rest. It has a-lot of snazzy features and looks fancy but otherwise is no more robust than several of the less expensive synthetic gloves that I have reviewed recently. If you want to look like you were born in the Indy pits then perhaps this is the cool-looking glove for you. If you are worried about smashing the back of your hand, it is smarter to keep your hand out from underneath heavy objects.

This glove is the most expensive of the bunch. Personally, I find these "knuckle protectors" to be completely unnecessary. As with most of the lightweight synthetic gloves on the market today, these gloves allow reasonable dexterity with good palm protection, snug fit, minimal thermal retention and they tend to wear more quickly than standard leather gloves. These pads provide marginally more knuckle protection than gloves that lack them and in fact, these protrusions tend to catch on things and cause me consternation.

Excellent Glove.Like others, I ordered the XL.Normally I usually go with a Large. The XL fit perfectly.

I work in a mine, love to hunt, fish, bike, and all kinds of outdoor activities. This is my seconds pair and I wouldn't wear anything else, they are worth the money. These gloves not only protect your hands but are extremely comfortable and enable me to write perfectly with them on.

A wonderful, heavy-duty work glove. Get it in a larger size than you think you might need.
