Very nice sturdy case. I wanted a case that I can protect and store the saw on a shelf. Bought it for my saw that didn't come with a case. Was not the same name brand as Milwaukee but it fit at an angle so that I could close the case.
The quality is high as you would expect from Milwaukee. No one else makes one so i guess it's the best you can buy.
So, I had to return the case.I bought the plastic case rather than the steel case due to the lower cost, but I think that I will need to buy the steel case now. The case was large and appeared to be durable; but my older model Milwaukee circular saw (7-1/4inch, 13 Amps) was too tall for the case; so I was not able to close the case. I determined from a review of the Milwaukee Power Tools website that the handles of their newer model circular saws (7-1/4 inch, 15 Amps) fold down to fit into this case. I believe that the steel case was available when I bought my saw so it is likely that my saw would fit in it. My older model saw handle does not fold down.
It is tough and seems to take punishment well. It calls out "hit me, use me, and ignore me. Its a carrying case, it works great and protects my saw from the weather and abuse to and from job sites. This case has room for extras you may want to carry along or keep with your saw. The handle is comfortable when carrying. I am here for you"Recommended What can you say.
It's Milwaukee. Milwaukee's PLASTIC cases are made better than most other company's metal tool cases. What else needs to be said.
