Editorial Reviews:

The New Bosch 4410L 10-Inch Dual Bevel Slide Miter Saw with Laser Tracking offers the most accurate laser tracking system available, in addition to up-front bevel and miter controls. Engineered for highest visibility, the Bosch arbor laser emits a bright, thin laser line that is visible throughout the cut, enabling the user to perfectly match the cut line to the blade kerf. The arbor laser is battery powered and actuates with the tool, prolonging battery life. An extra set of batteries is included. The dual bevel feature allows ease of cut from either side of workpiece. An upfront bevel lever and adjustment knob make it easy to set cuts from zero to 45 degrees left and right with an override allowing settings up to 47 degrees. A four position adjustable handle provides comfort and accuracy. Tool free clamping levers for built-in sliding base extensions extend the material support up to 37-½ inches. Additional upfront features are a miter lock knob, a miter detent override and a Micro-Fine miter angle adjustment for precise cuts. The 4410L features two 4-1/2 inch tall Speed-Track sliding fences, a built-in length stop, highly visible and easy to read bevel and miter scales, an exclusive precision wedge and slot miter detent system, electric brake and spindle blade lock. A 15-amp motor provides 3 hp (max) tool output, enough power to handle the toughest tasks. Includes premium 60-Tooth Thin-Kerf Carbide-Tipped Blade, dust bag, tool free material quick-clamp and wrench set.

User Comments about the Bosch 4410L 15-Amp 10-Inch Dual Bevel Sliding Compound Miter Saw

Once you drop a nice blade in the saw the quality of the cuts and convenience cannot compare to a tablesaw setup. I was sitting on the fence purchasing a nice miter saw for a long time. Having a tablesaw and a miter gauge made it possible to cut angles and tough to justify this purchase. I ditched the laser attachment.it seems easier and more accurate for my needs to just sit the blade on the line while the unit is off.I also bought the extended rails for the support arms and I consider that a no brainer purchase if you pick up this unit and do not plan to have additional shop supports for your work. I had narrowed down my reserach to about 3 models (this one the hitachi and the makita) and I was lucky enough to pick up the last floor model at Costco. If you are coming from the same direction as I was, I would not hesitate to get one.even at "full price".

It is not too heavy to move around, which makes it much better to use then my large 10" delta contractor's saw. This saw is a champ at all three. I am very happy with it. You will need to buy or make (out of PVC plumbing fittings) an adapter to hook it to your shop vac if like me you do not have a dust collection system.

Without waiting for the first one to be returned the very, very efficient and helpful customer service rep (American- not outsourced). I don't care if they aren't the cheapest, the quality of their service and guarantee of satisfaction is WELL WORTH any extra. The first saw UPS misrouted and started playing games with me- frankly, I think someone at UPS had planned to claim it was lost and swipe it. Bosch 4410L 15-Amp 10-Inch Dual Bevel Sliding Compound Miter SawI bought this saw to help finish my basement to use to cut 2x4 framing, pressure treated 2x4, and 2x8 pressure treated lumber for window framing, and miter finish moldings. Right out of the box it works wonderfully and sets up easily for non-pros like me. It cuts dados nicely for the window frames. sent me out another by next day mail at no extra charge- FABULOUS SERVICE- which is why I bought it at Amazon.

The customer service rep on this order should be rewarded and I hope she is. The ease of use is a delight. The sliding feature is very, very smooth and effortless.Only negative- it is dusty and you need to keep it clean frequently- and the port doesnt hook up to most shop vacs easily because it is too large. She was fantastic.Nelson Timken Now, let's talk about Amazon's customer service.

After reading the reviews I chose the Bosch 4410L instead of the DeWalt. My next trip to Lowes gave me an opportunity to compare the Bosch to the current version of the DeWalt unit and I saw that the DeWalt was deidedly inferior to the Bosch and. I suddenly needed a replacement chop saw in the middle of a project when my OLD Sears Companion saw was damaged (after ordering the parts I was able to repair it and have a spare). with the reward certificate was actually cheaper. Obviously that happened and I checked in with Amazon for the new saw. I found that the blade is more than adequate and having added an Erwin laser to my previous saw, I was accustomed to the characteristics of this type of guide. I followed the instructions faithfully and found that it needed tweaking but was actually not that involved.

My son is a building contractor and I saw his DeWalt sliding compound miter saw and decided that whenever the Companion gave up, that would be my replacement choice. The saw arrived about four days later and did take a while to assemble and set up. I highly recommend this saw for your consideration. This is a really well made and designed saw that operates smoothly and accurately on every cut.

There are several good points to this saw. And there is very little setup of this saw out of the box. The angle marks are raised numbers molded onto the frame during casting no sticker to worry about coming off. The factory blade makes clean cuts.

So far I have not been disppointed. They came well packaged, no missing parts, and operated as described. I have done crown molding in two homes already and I do not know how I could have done a professional job without either of these items. When I purchase Bosch products I expect nothing but the BEST. I have this saw and the T4 stand. Thanks again BOSCH. Together they both perform like a well oiled machine.
