Why did I wait so long. Just hook to dust collection system and go. I should have goten one of these a long time ago. No more having to clean up a pile of sawdust.
The 50-359 dust collector connector is fine, but the "recommended" Jet JW1044 4-to-2-1/2-Inch Reducer doesn't fit: The large end is 4" OD. To fit the 50-359 (which has a 4" OD connector), it should be 3.75" OD or 4" ID.
The dust collector attachment for the Delta Planer works great with my dust collection system.
Don't allow the dust collector hose to be pulled upwards as it might damage your new dust chute. With a 1 HP dust collector ALL shavings are collected. Before I got this dust collector adapter I had sawdust and chips flying all over my shop. My only gripe is that this is made out of plastic and not very sturdy. Very easy to install. Your dust collector hose is mounted directly above the outfeed and must be suspended somehow.
Installed in 1 minute and works great. I wish the price was a little cheaper.
