User Comments about the Hitachi 726101 12-Inch 90-tooth ATB Crosscutting Saw Blade with 1-Inch Arbor

I bought this blace as a supplement to a DeWalt blade that came with my compound miter saw. It stays sharp and cuts through 2x4s like butter. This blade has a thin kerf, is well balanced, stays true and doesn't wobble when spinning. It gives me cleaner cuts when I am looking for a more finished result.

This blade helped out tremendously with this project.I've never used an expensive blade like the Forrest Chopmaster for these types of woodworking tasks, so I can't make a comparison of this moderately priced blade to those other expensive ones, which someday I would like to try. What makes this blade a "great buy" is that it does a super fine job of making very smooth crosscuts for its price. Of course, the blade to fence adjustment was perfectly square, but the finished cut was as smooth as glass. I just recently completed a waist high entertainment center to hold our 50 inch plasma on top and to house the audio and video electronic components. The butt joints were very tight and seamless, and after the sanding process, difficult to spot. I used this Hitachi 12 inch, 90 tooth blade to crosscut 3/4 inch solid, prefinished red oak flooring this summer.

I was impressed with the cut it made. I have since used this blade to cut unfinished red oak and pine to create small funiture for the house. The project looks great and is very functional. Some of these boards were butt joined to create larger planks to mill. The blade was installed on a Delta miter saw. We installed casters underneath it to make it easier to access the rear panels of the electonic components.

I am sure that the miter saw that is being used and the skill of the woodworker have much to do with the precision of the cut, but this blade certainly contributes a whole lot to the final quality product that is being created. Because the blade left such smooth crosscuts, I did not have to sand down the ends of the boards.

I purchased this blade to do some finish work on a re-model of a home. It leaves nice clean cuts and I have no complaints.

I received the saw blade and put it on with very positive results. It gives a nice clean cut and was well worth the money.

Recieved this blade and must have been warped or teeth misaligned.what was amazing was when I contacted Hitachi Power Tools, they sent me out a new blade, no questions asked. Although the original balde was defective, they will continue to get my business because of their customer service and overall quality of other products recieved. This type of customer service is unheard of nowadays.
