Since this application required flush nailing, I played with the settings and it ended up either too deep or above the surface. I am not sure if a pro would require a higher capacity compressor. The nailer arrived and was as advertised. All in all I am pretty happy with the nailer. I used the nailer to install Hardie plank siding using 2 1/2 inch nails. I used a PC pancake compressor and it kept up with me. The nailer seemed to jam if you let it get below about 4-5 nails.
The price was a little higher than the cheap no name nailers, but well worth the extra money. I then adjusted the air pressure and the depth adjustment and that came up with a good setting. I will use it in on continuation of the porch project where I build an Eon deck over the existing concrete floor. Keep the nailer fed, and jamming is eliminated.
I bought this item to construct a large storage shed. The only thing you will need is a male connector for the air hose, this is not supplied with the tool. This is a very nice tool at a very nice price, I couldn't be happier. I only purchased it because it was priced so favorably, otherwise I would have swung a hammer. It arrived looking brand new and I drove hundreds of nails with no problems at all.
Item looks brand new, performs perfect. Best deal on a framing nailer I could find.
If it wasn't listed as reconditioned, I would have not realized it was reconditioned. This tool arrived in new condition. I rated this a 4 because I am fairly new to framing nailers so I am cautious to compare to other brands. Be careful with this gun, it is very powerful, if you shoot a nail at an angle too close to the edge it will go sailing. I will never go back to a framing hammer. Just completed the rough framing on a 16'x24' shop and the nailer worked great. Great product and excellent value. We had a couple of jams but they were probably caused by the nails and not the gun because the last few nails were broke apart.
Had to return it to seller.Disappointed, R. When attempting to use it, thegun would not create enough pressure to completely sink the nail. Received in what appeared to be like new condition. Always left a 1/4inch head, which needed to be finished off with a hammer. Rush My compressor delivered 120#of force.
