This company provides tools as described in a very timely manner. The rotozip is one of those tools that once you have it, you wonder how you lived without it.
It definately arrived looking used (not bad), but seems to work fine. Nice purchase of a recycled tool that I will rarely use as a DIY'er. It would probably look the way it arrived after its first use anyway.
I bought this to replace my Dewalt spiral drywall saw. This tools is much more solid than the Dewalt and also much quieter and much more versatile. Can't beat this price for this high quality tool. Go this reconditioned and it came in great shape. The big difference is how much more stable the cut depth mechanism is.
The tool feels very solid although I have not yet used it for any real cuts. My Dewalt was hardly used but I was never all that happy with it (as an aside bought the Dewalt from Tyler Tool, it was supposed to be new but was obviously not, never got any response from them after multiple attempts to contact their customer service, stay away from Tyler Tool). Anyhow, the RotoZip came from CPO Bosch and I could not be happier. I have made several purchases from CPO and have been satisfied every time.
best price, good tool , last one lasted 5 yrs. good for light work(dry wall/ hardy board siding cut outs, relieving door strikes, soft tile etc) get the circle cutter.
Still some pull like a router, so you won't run a precise line w/o a guide. The vacuum cleaner attachment works quite well too. Keep extra bits on hand. This seems like a good replacement for a jig saw as it makes a router clean cut but freehands well. Bought this for cutting a fiberglass panel on a boat & while I haven't used it for that yet, I did a test cut yesterday in some MDF & its pretty cool.
Fiberglass dulls them pretty quick. I am used to a router which, by design, you cannot freehand with (unless perhaps you're an arm wrestling champ). Seems well made. Saves a lot of cleanup. Nice kit bagI did use on the fiberglass cutout last spring & worked as hoped.
