Incredible deal for this product. Excellent for drywall, Excellent for Tile, Excellent for natural stones (marble, travertine, etc) Pathetic for Laminate floors
The bucket kinda sucks. I have owned this tool for about a year now.It is primarily used for hanging drywall. I absolutely love the 50 foot cord. A case would have been better. Now I don't have to have an extra cord for it.
The included bits were useless for this task, but after buying a set of the sabre bits at my local lumberyard, it did a slick job of doing the cutouts, without marring the natural finish on the wood.Like some others have mentioned, the "bucket" it comes in is kind of useless once you unwind the cord once. The power of a router but nearly as compact as a Dremel. All my other tools have normal cords, so there's usually an extension cord out when I'm working anyway.I already own a couple of routers, a jigsaw and a Dremel tool, but this tool fits it's niche nicely. I bought this to do outlet cutouts in exterior siding. It's more trouble than it's worth to get everything back in there and get the lid on (which is kind of hard to get off anyway). I'm looking forward to trying one of the saw/trim attachments when the need arises. If the tool had come with a decent case or a bag, I would have given it 5 stars. I can't decide if the long cord is good or bad.
Also, this version of the rotozip doesn't feature the hard handle, and therefore, has no on board storage for the wrench and other bits. I have owned and used a rotozip for many years prior to buying this version. It still features the quality rotozip is known for. So basically, I got a bucket that all my accessories just clunk around in, and my rotozip won't fit in unless I take out the bit and roll the cord up perfectly. The long cord and new xbits are a great added bonus. However, this product did not come with a carrying case, mine came in a small bucket that is a pain to get open and closed.
This worked very well for me cutting drywall around outlets, windows, doors, heatducts and etc.I am not a professional drywall hanger and it worked very well in hanging my basement.
