I tend to use them on pretty much every job that I am given to do. I didn't really expect to use them nearly as much as I do. Pipe clamps don't even hold a candle to these clamps either. They are also more useful to me than Vise grip locking C clamp for the same reason. I bought 2 of these super quick 6 inch clamps for work use. They have been so useful to me that I bought 4 more Bessey L clamps of various sizes. I should mention, though, that there will always be some jobs that you or I WILL need a good C clamp for, or a Vise grip or pipe clamp, but these clamps are what I get first out of my toolbox and they get the job done like nothing else can. These clamps are far more useful to me than a C clamp due to the speed at which I can deploy one of theses clamps, whereas a C clamp requires so much more time to set up and operate.
They are easy to handle, not heavy at all. They are really nice. I just received my Bessey SQ4's. They have a better reach than any C-clamp or other sliding clamps that I have tried. And they make quick work in my hobby woodworking shop.What more could you ask.Jim They even outshine Bessey K-body Clamps, which I have several.
