Great price, but the router bits were missing when I opened it on Christmas. They tried sending me the correct, but kept getting the same thing.Still waiting
Handy quick and like a johnny on the spot tool, it is good. Note - you will need some wrist and hand strength to use it.Reconditioned means nada - looks and operates like a new tool. This will expand your tools with one quick purchase.
Seemed odd but maybe something has changed with the quality of the metal. It saved me from having to re-purchase at the store and seems to work fine. I had a RotoZip some point in the past but it went missing so was happy to find a refurbished unit at a lower cost. I used it for the first time the other day and it performed just as well as the previous one I owned. Other than that, the item worked flawlessly and would recommend it over buying at the retail location since it will save you money and give you a quality product. The bits seemed cheaper - I broke all of the bits included with the kit, however, once I changed to one of my old bits from the previous unit I owned, I was able to finish my project with no more broken bits.
This is one of the best tools that I have ever purchased. The Zip tool made the repair easy and faster than any other tool that I have in my shop. I have seen the Zip tool advertized for more locally than I paid for the Zip Tool, saw adapter, extra Zip bits, metal and tile blades and a carry bag. I used the tool with the saw adapter to redo some storage doors on my motorhome.
