I bought this so my wife and kid could start testing batteries around the house, (we seem to have a lot of them).The tester had a bad connection and it failed to show anything about 50% of the time, and the rest of the time, it showed the battery being good, but flashlights were dim and toys were slow so it was clearly incorrect.I eventually tossed the tester in the trash and bought a more expensive one.My opinion is, if a product isn't going to do what it is advertised to do, then don't make it in the first place.
It's working. So why not get it while you can. It's cheap and most importantly it's FREE.
Now when 4-batteries device demands replacing batteries, I can check which ones are still good and not to throw away all 4 - usually it is just 1 battery gets drained.
Great for clearing out the old battery drawer. I ordered 2 just in case.
I order this product in December, but have never received it.
