User Comments about the Porter-Cable PTS5 5-Inch Random Orbit Pnuematic Sander not Vacuum with 3/32-Inch Orbit

however when selecting this or any pneumatic sander the weak point is the air supply. this sander was recommended by a cabinet maker and proved to faster, lighter and easier to operate with either hand. I'm building a post and beam house and needed to sand all the post and beams, I tried a belt sander and an electric random obit both wore me out in minutes. it is easy to guide when doing work next to surfaces that you don't want to damage eliminating the need to mask and easy to change papers. I took the sander to 3 rental shops to try out compressors that would hold a 90 PSI while sanding before finding one. works well from 40 grit to 150 (I didn't try any higher).
