User Comments about the Extech 480823 Electromagnetic Field and Extremely Low Frequency Meter

Works by pointing at the item. We have the power company putting in a double loop substation 10 feet from our back fence and I wanted to see what effects it will have on us. I also wanted to check my clock radio (a shocking 100 when next to cordless phone), computer, electric heaters, microwave. Check all directions for best readings. I now know a safe distance to keep away from them.

The home was fairly close to high voltage transmission lines and I wanted to make sure that there were no elevated levels in and around the house. I purchased it to measure EMF levels around a new home that I was considering purchasing. We decided to buy the house. I may have been a little paranoid but I wanted to have the peace of mind that my family will be safe in the house. This is an excellent product. I actually found no unusual EMF levels around the house. :) Just to make sure the meter actually worked I walked right under the power lines and the EMF level spiked.

The meter did not work very well. The product was extremely expensive for a single-axis meter, too. It was always changing. First it was 21 mg, then it was 16 mg, and then it was 34 mg. i was looking for a triple-axis meter, not a single-axis meter. I put it to an electrical machine, and it just said.01 mg almost all the time. I needed this meter for a science project and it failed the requirements. When I put it to a hair dryer, the measurement always changed.

Unlike another reviewer, my meter came with a small manual. I had recently moved my bed away from a wall where the power came into my house and felt the new placement was safer. I purchased this item mainly to test the area where my bed was placed for EMF's. What I found was that the wall where the bed had been had small (1.4) amounts of EMF's, but that the small alarm clock, placed on the table next to my head, was cranking out 134+. If you're interested in the invisible world around you I'd recommend this meter. I've been testing everything in the house, and it's amazing the unlikely things that pour out the EMF's and the major things that don't.

Gotta run. casually. It's spaceship is in my garage. I'm shopping a book deal, possible a movie too. with another delivery from Amazon.

Thank God I have Amazon Prime. My Mother in Law has a Toyota so I know it's not a Toyota. Now that it can't use it's power of invisibility anymore it actually looks a lot like my mother in law but its not my Mother in Law.unless my Mother in Law is an Alien.Someone just pulled up to my house. My Extech 480823 Electromagnetic Field and Extremely Low Frequency Meter arrived in 2 days with free shipping. It look strangely like a Toyota but it's not a Toyota.

I meant it. change their name to S.W.A.T. I found it lurking near my PS3. Hmmm when did U.P.S. I will never know. Did I say he. I think it's U.P.S. I ordered the Extech 480823 Electromagnetic Field and Extremely Low Frequency Meter.

I knew he was in my house. I tried to scan my house. Perhaps Madden is loved throughout the galaxy. It had been observing me invisibly for months.

If anyone knows Geraldo RiveraI would be willing to allow him to open the fridge and film it for a price. I knew there must have been a way to reveal it. Perhaps he was using it to signal to the rest of his kind earthlings are stupid and weak. I will never forget the blood curdling scream it emitted as my Louisville Slugger® FP83C TPS Catalyst X-1 Composite Fast Pitch Softball Bat came crashing down on it's head.Anyway I have it in a fridge now.

It must have thought it's cloak of invisible was still effective against me.
