The heavy-duty DELTA 31-735A 6-Inch/12-Inch 1-1/2 HP Belt/Disc Sander with Magnetic Switch and Dust Bag is strong enough to handle 95 percent of your finishing operations. Ideal for both metal shops and woodworkers, the sander includes a 1.5 HP motor that flawlessly operates with its 2,100 RPM 50-grit aluminum oxide disc sander and 3,030 RPM 80-grit aluminum oxide belt unit. The belt is designed to operate vertically, horizontally, or at an angle. Large ribbed tables on both sanders are designed to prevent distortion. The belt table can be tilted 45 degrees out and 20 degrees in, while the disc table tilts at 45 degrees out for impeccable angle finishing. In addition, a sliding pivot pin allows for circle sanding. The sander includes a 4-inch dust port and built-in dust collector fan. One-phase electricals are included and wired for 230-volt. The power cord and plug are designed for single phase only.

We bought this to use in our metal fabrication shop. Excellent price and free shipping for a quality machine. It works great for all types of metal/steel. A great time saver we use it in place of hand held grinders when we have large qty's of parts to grind.

Installed new sander for manufacturing maintenance work shop. Recieved what I wnated at a very good price. All different trades are using it with rave feedback.

When retail is $3500 with shipping up to $300 and Amazon charging around $1200 with free shipping --- you bet I would -- in a heart beat. I might even assemble them for you now for $200. Critical pics missing or out of focus. I had to go to the hardware store and buy some good flex aluminum duct because theirs was made of rice paper (I think) and tore immediately. No big deal but still more of a pain. Box said made in Tennessee.

Instruction to install were the worst ever. Written instructions were somewhat incomplete but with a little knowledge of machinery and a lot of patience you can get through this. Would I buy it again. plug. Product was marked (it need magnifying glasses) made in China and Taiwan. It's a great machine once finished.

:o) Also comes with a European 220V plug which you will have to cut off and replace with a U.S.

Very happy with this tool. It does just what I wanted it to do plus.Buy one and you will not be unhappy.
