Not altogether surprising, these belkin headphone jack splitters take your single stereo output and create two stereo outputs from it - both of which sound great, as far as I've heard. Fun.They work fine, and I'm not dead yet, but if you're paranoid. The only iffy part was the fact that the casing apparently contains lead and mercury.
Just what I needed. Yet again, Belkin never stops amazing me. Great product. :] The sound quality did not change (at least not for me).
We were using a Samsung GO N310-13GB 10.1-Inch Midnight Blue Netbook - 9 Hour Battery Life and watching Vegas Vacation (Widescreen Edition). There is not much more I can say about it except that we were able to hear our movie over airplane noises and I did not notice a great loss in volume or tone. It can work in laptops, netbooks, smartphones. The construction is well done and it's just a simple splitter. I was traveling to Las Vegas with a friend and the plane ride was long. This little splitter worked great with our headphones (we used the stock iPhone headphones) and we were able to watch the movie and hear it even through all of the airplane noises. I liked having it and will continue to keep it for traveling. It was great. This little splitter is worth having around for those times when you just want to share a movie, songs, whatever.
It would have cost the same to return as it cost me to buy the right thing. I purchased this splitter at the advice of Verizon in order to use my Blackberry as an MP3 Player. Verizon told me to buy the wrong thing. This is not the sellers fault but I cannot say how these work because they are useless to my. I decided not to return this item because I bought 2 of them , one for me , and one for my husband.
It's a simple yet effective way to share one iPod screen or music source. When playing two person games on an iPod Touch, it makes a lot of sense.
