Of course, when drilling through holes, they will have some tear-out on wood. While made for hard metals, these bits actually do great on wood as well. Nothing drills like cobalt. I use them on both. The Bosch set is a very good value for cobalt bits, and the box is top notch. Compared to high speed steel on wood, these bits stay sharper and penetrate very well without clogging.
