These bits are fantastic. Excellent bits, but one small one was missing. I used one 3/8 inch bit to cut 24 holes in 3/16 steel almost like it was wood -- very fast. No sign of dulling.

Does anyone know if these make for good wood bits. Anyone know otherwise. I know they're excellent for metal work from the reviews, but i've heard mixed reviews that the steep angle on the tip makes the bits grab into wood too quickly, causing chunks of wood to splinter.

these are very high quality bits, they are sharp and they stay sharp. I notice they have a very steep angle to them which means that they attack the material rather rapidly.

It is a good-solid drill. A little on the big side, but still a good product.

I purchased these bits as cobalt is better/stronger than titanium, and therefore should last longer. I called Bosch and they immediately send me a replacement. One bit was missing from the set.
