Designed to meet the needs of a professional trim carpenter. Hitachi's selective actuation trigger lets you change from sequential to contact fire with the flip of a switch. The integrated air duster is a useful feature that can be used to blow dust off o

User Comments about the Hitachi NT65A3 16 Gauge 1-Inch to 2-1/2-Inch Finish Nailer

To me this is the best 16 Gauge nailer out there, I'm a contractor and me and my guys use this nailers everyday , I tried Paslode, Dewalt, and I love Dewalt tools but not their nailers, also Porter Cable love their routers but not the nailers, the Hitachi NT65A3 is the # 1 Finish nailer for me, don't go for the newer model make sure you get the NT65A3 you won't be sorry.

When shooting MDF trim the Porter Cable tore up the finish because the driver is much larger then the head of the nail. Even with the safety trigger on it still allows the user to shoot one nail weather the nose is pressed first or the trigger, this one feature is what I like the most. The new design on the trigger, witch allows the operator to change the trigger type in less then a second. I was using a Porter Cable be for the Hitachi and struggled with the weight and shot effect of the Porter Cable. I bought this gun due to pressure from my employer.

No lie. The company that I work for has been using this gun for the past two years. The Hitachi has a driver that is of equal size to the nail so the trim looks of very high quality after it is installed. I would recommend this gun to any professional who uses the gun every day, the average person might find the Hitachi kind of pricey. The Hitachi also has a tapered nose that allows the user to place the nail exactly where he or she wants it.
