Rotozip SUCKSthe high hard one.the low limp onebasically anything you put before it , it will suckThe ONLY use I have ever found for this piece of junk in for carving pumpkins.which actually it does really wellonce you develop your technique for controlling it. But it will not serve anyone well for cutting anytihing more than gyp board andcertainly will not perform as the commercials infer.
While I was excited about the price of this product, after 3 uses it became clear that you get what you pay for - not. They stand behind that policy 100%. The "reconditioned" RotoZip simply died. Don't expect Tool King to go beyond their 30 day return policy.
P.S. YES THAT'S WHAT THIS TOOL IS WORTH N A D A. TRY CONNECTING THE ANGLE ATACHMENT DOES NOT WORK.WELL ANOTHER PIECE OF JUNK FROM (OVER SEAS). THIS WAS BRAND NEW NOT A REFURB. DON'T WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY.
I've had a little bit of a problem with the chuck sticking and/or not holding the bit in place. Overall it's a very solid tool. But just a minor tweek here and there.
No matter how tight you get the unit attached the circle never comes out perfectly. It's loose & not accurate.All in all the tools is awesome. Doesn't make a difference. And they tell me they thought it was them that were off but hearing what I have told them they to agree. Great kit.
The only difficulty I've had is when using the guide for cutting circles. There's play in the unit & once you arrive back to where you started the cut is off 1/4" to 3/8". It's definately the design of the guide. The case is great for keeping things organized & clean. Great tool.
I've tried it on different materials, thicknesses & rotation speed while attempting to cut the circle. I'd recommend it to my friends & the guys I spoke about above, again agree. I spoke with friends that have the same guide & tool.
