Wish this set was a little cheaper aka 3-5 less but honestly I would pay the full price and I absolutely LOVE em. The grip option is perfect too.
Everyone should have a pair for there kitchen. Very good size for picking up everything. Made very sturdy and so glad I bought the non stick grip ones so food is easier to clean than the ones without the non stick grips. Don't wait as long as I did for the convenience. These are used for everything in the stove or stovetop to remove food with ease.
non stick locking so they dont take up drawer space i dont know how i cooked without these. oh right burned fingers and scratched up cookware.
The unusual name "OXO" stuck in my head. I will probably buy these for gifts as well. I see a larger pair in a future order. Like some of the other reviewers I originally saw these tongs in an America's Test Kitchen product review quite some time ago. When I decided to replace some old tongs with a more substantial pair my choice was OXO. I know they would be appreciated. I only wish I'd bought both sizes.
I have never had tongs in my kitchen before but I went out and bought them. I often use them when I'm stir frying because I can pick up individual pieces of food and flip them or move them out of the way. Great. I took a cooking class and the chef said 'everyone needs tongs'. They are sturdy, they fold down and fit in a drawer and they wash up easily.
Really. Oxo is a good name brand and I didn't know how to buy tongs but these folded down and fit in my drawer so I bought them. These are the best thing and I wish I had bought more when I did buy them. I use them for flipping everything and find that I use them more than I do a spatula.
