To use this extension arm you need the stand with the "track" on the underside of the stand's arms. Received the item and it looked like it was of good quality and would work well. Sorry to say I had to returm it. The return process went very smoothly and I received my refund in a very timely manner. I didn't relize that Hitachi made two types of stands very similar in design.

I got this for my Bosch T3B miter saw stand, works great. Sturdy aluminum construction, when properly tightened it will not move, making repeatable accurate cuts

I do not understand why Amazon is marketing this for the uu610. It works great for doing repeat cuts. I bought the uu610 and this was part of the package.
