Editorial Reviews:

C-Clamp provides double-rolled thread for faster clamping and increased durability. Larger swivel pad reduces marring on work surface and increases stability. Has larger handle for greater clamping pressure with less effort and reduced hand fatigue

User Comments about the IRWIN 225102 100 Series 2-Inch C-Clamp

You just can't beat the price or the quality. I mean these 4" clamps seem much larger than a little 4" clamp I thought I'd receive. I have tightened them down to the point others would have broke and these clamps held fast with no bending, cracking or breaking. I ordered 3", 4" and 6" and these are very well made. These clamps from Irwin were much more than I expected. I do a lot of welding and wanted to add additional clamps to my collection. I rate these clamps a true 5 stars. Being happy with Irwin products in the past, I went with these.

The threads on these clamps are fine enough that I can really ease up to the maximum pressure I am going for without clamping with too much force. These clamps are very sturdy, easy to clamp down hard, the threads turn smoothly, and as far as I can tell they are pretty rust resistent. I purchased 10 of these to use for wide panel glue-ups, where I place a clamp at each glue joint (sometimes with and sometimes without a straight edge to clamp against). In the rare instances when I have really wanted to apply some torque with these, the handles have not flexed or bent at all (which is a problem with some of the cheaper c-clamps I have used). If you have a need for some small c-clamps, I highly recommend these. I find that this helps me to align the boards perfectly while the glue is still wet and thus I have a lot less sanding to do later.
