The easiest comparison is to a pair of baseball gloves. The sizes are deceiving. The small if probably closer to a large so I don't know what a large would be. I wouldnt buy these gloves for real heavy duty work, but if you just need gloves for everyday work, these are a good pair. The gloves are a little thin and not great for cold weather, but for 5 dollars you couldn't get a better pair.
These are great work gloves for my son. I'm having a heck of a time finding identical ones that will fit me though.
Best of all, the wrist velcro actually works. So often, small sized gloves lack functionality, wear-guards, or adjustments for fit. I bought these gloves for myself and my daughter- size small. That is not the case for these gems. The extra stretch (and shrink) and excellent design make this pair of gloves an excellent investment. Grips, double stitching and reinforcements are correctly placed.
I got these gloves in small and they fit my hands perfectly. I had no idea I could get something like these, for this price. These are reinforced all over, on the fingers and the palms, so they will last me forever. Before I got these, when I needed to protect my hands a bit, I've used those big, rough work gloves from the hardware store. It was like wearing clown gloves.
I have tried on countless work gloves and garden gloves, and, quite frankly, most are just too big for my hands. At under $6, this is a great price for a very nice glove. If they aren't too big, then they are too narrow in the palm. These work gloves fit well, have a nice stretch & seem to be very well made.
