this cup brush is tough enough to clean the dirtiest machine parts especially in hard to reach areas. a bit too stiff for light gauge material. it is definatly made for heavy iron and steel.

I use these cup brushes often. Many other uses as well around the home. They are by far the best tool for cleaning up old metal objects with flaking paint or removing surface rust. You do need to take care with them as they can grab in corners or when working around metal balustrades and rails etc but they will quickly and readily remove old paint ready for new coats.
