Editorial Reviews:

Designed for deep hole drilling, The DeWalt D25600K 1-3/4-inch SDS Max Rotary Hammer Kit with Electronic Variable Speed and Impact Control comes with a heavy-duty 11.5 Amp motor. Built for moderate-grade chipping jobs, this rotary hammer is capable of delivering eight lbs./ft. of impact energy for fast drilling and powerful chipping (at 1,330-to-2,660 BPM and 140-to-280 RPM). Included is a rear handle mount for less bending over when using tool in down drilling applications, and a factory clutch helps reduce the tool's reaction to embedded steel when bits lock-up while in operation. This rotary hammer also features modular construction to allow service technicians to perform repairs quickly for less down time. A 360-degree side handle allows user the ability to position the side handle wherever it best suits the application. Backed by a manufacturer's 3-year warranty, this rotary hammer comes with a 360-degree side handle, a depth rod, and a heavy-duty kit box.

User Comments about the DEWALT D25600K 1-3/4-Inch SDS Max Rotary Hammer Kit

I think this hammerdrill is great for the price, however I do agree that it could use a little more power (for its 1-3/4" size). But I can't really complain about that because it is several hundred dollars cheaper than the more powerful Hitachi, so for the majority of holes I drill (1/2"-3") it works great.

Although I wish this roto-hammer was more powerful it is priced very reasonably. I have seen similarly powered roto-hammers for sale up to three times the money.
