Powerful Motor Provides Smooth, Accurate Cuts
The C10FSB Sliding Dual Compound Miter Saw features a powerful 12-amp motor that generates a no-load speed of up to 3,800 RPM for easily making crosscuts and miters in even the toughest workpieces. The electronic speed control ensures consistent RPM throughout the cut, so you get smooth, precise, controlled cuts each and every time.

Additionally, the C10FSB utilizes a Poly-V-Belt transmission rather than a traditional gear transmission. This soft start technology allows the saw to operate smoothly and quietly and reduces recoils during startup.

Compound Feature for Precise Miters and Bevels
Hitachi designed the C10FSB for versatile, easy use. The thumb-actuated positive miter stops allow for simple miter adjustments at the most common angles: 15.0, 22.5, 31.6, and 45.0 degrees to the right or left. The tool also features a 57-degree miter angle to the right and a 45-degree miter angle to the left for maximum flexibility. Additionally, a white-on-black miter scale provides superior visibility, allowing you to easily adjust the angle of the cutting blade for creating miters in crown molding and other trim pieces.

And with a bevel range of 45 degrees to the left and right, you can quickly and easily flip the saw blade while leaving your material in place. To save you even more time, bevel stops to the right and left are conveniently located at zero and 45 degrees.

The 10-inch TCT saw blade (included) makes easy work of trim and other woodwork, and the linear ball-bearing slide system and adjustable pivot fence allow for accurate cutting of large workpieces over 12 inches deep.

Chock-Full of User-Friendly Features
The C10FSB contains plenty of features to help you make the perfect cut the first time. To start, a splinter guard behind the fence increases safety and reduces tear-out for clean, finished cuts. For further refinement, a large table provides a stable guide and sturdy support, a built-in clamping system holds your workpiece in place, and an electric brake feature quickly halts the blade to prevent unintended cuts.

The C10FSB also includes a dust collector that minimizes accumulation of dust and particles in your both your workspace and the saw's interior components, keeping your jobsite clean and prolonging the life of the tool. An added bonus, easily accessible carbon brushes will help your saw perform for the long term.

Durably built, this tool is backed with an industry-leading five-year warranty. It is compatible with Hitachi's UU610 Universal Work Station.

User Comments about the Hitachi C10FSB 12 Amp 10-Inch Dual Bevel Sliding Compound Miter Saw

The open table design is the only way to go for the trim carpenter. Have used about a dozen CMS, SCMS saws and this is my favorite of all. Keep it simple stupid, and that is what Hitachi has done with this one. The hitachi 8 1/4 saw is also the best, it however doesnt dual bevel. The guard actually works on this saw no pinning needed.

It took little less than 1/2 hr to pull it from the box and made ready for action. The handle grip is not the most comfortable which sounds silly however when you are doing a lot of mitering your hand feels it. The soft start is nice as the saw doesn't jerk when you pull the trigger. It came well packaged and nothing was missing ,bent or broken. Hi everyone, This saw was a replacement to my dewalt 12 double bevel saw.I had considered getting the dewalt 12in slider however I simply could not justify the cost.

I haven't changed the blade yet so I can't comment there however I don't see any place to store the tools on the saw.Things I don't like. After reading the reviews concerning the Hitachi, seeing it at my local Lowes store (which by the way was 169.00 more expensive) and speaking to my father who is a professional carpenter ,and owns the smaller version of this saw, I decided this one was for me.It arrived in 2 weeks which surprised me.The free shipping offered by amazon was GREAT. One thing I didn't take into consideration when buying this was the additional space required.Compared to the Dewalt it needed a min of 6 more inches of bench space so keep this in mind. The slide is smooth and pulls easy. Also I hate the safety switch that needs to be depressed however a small strip of gorilla tape fixed that issue.I also wish the aux fence had come with the saw rather than sold as a option. So over all this is a excellent saw for the money and I'm delighted I have bought it.regards,Ray I can make a 12 3/8 cut with no problems.

Stock blade is almost good enough for finish work. The dual bevel adjustment seems a little haphazard. I would not again pay $439 for it, and definitely would not pay $500+ for it. Amazon service has been outstanding for me. Arrived with some deep scratches on the base near the miter adjustments. I do think it's a great saw, though.

Amazon shipped me a replacement overnight. The saw seems great. The dust bag is junk but does a decent job collecting roughly 2/3 the dust.Everything else seems fine to me. Nice miter controls. I agree that a "D" handle would have been much more comfortable.I bought it at $439, but got a refund for the difference when it dropped to $349.

Originally I had the old 8" compound miter saw and used it daily until I finally wore it out after 10+ years. My second Hitachi saw. I use several different blades, it's the electric brake. You'll really need hearing protection when using it all day. It's not an issue with the blade. As a full time carpenter, I've used this saw day in and day out for 2 years. Bought this one as a replacement. The soft start is nice and smooth, and not too bad noise wise, but let the trigger go and it really shrieks.Other than that I would certainaly recommend it if you need a good dependable tool.Just expect to say "What." a lot at the end of the day.Might seem to be a silly complaint, but I've had a significant hearing loss after working around power tools for the last 30+ years, so noise levels have become a criteria as important as accuracy and dependability in my book. Light, accurate, great laser, but this thing just screams.

The right fence is about an inch tall, i.e. The saw I'm replacing is a five-year old 12" Dewalt (dual bevel but no slider), which I still prefer, sad to say(bigger table and fences). and for what it costs, I should love it, but I don't. A couple of colleagues have the 12" Bosch slider, and love it, which at this point I wish I'd bought. After two weeks, I still haven't rec'd the replacement, so I can only make cuts from the right side. The table is also pretty small. It slides smooth, and cuts wide stock.

It came with a bowed left fence. TINY. Anybody want my Hitachi 10" slider. The blade it came with is good.
