These are great speakers. I would purchase again. I have them outside and they with stand the elements.

We hooked the Polk Audio Atrium 45's up in the house first. Cant wait until summer They were ok, but when they made it outdoor's by the pool it was awsome to say the least.

I bought these almost two years ago and have sent a total of three speakers back for replacement because they filled up with water outside. Otherwise these are awesome sounding speakers. The rep at Polk audio told me to put teflon tape on the threads where the mounting knobs screw into the speakers. I just wanted to let people know so they can avoid the water issue.

No harm to the speaker itself. Good speakers, good sound. The speakers are connected to a TEAC AG-790 amp using 16/4 speaker wire so I can choose which set I want to use (or both). The damage was very minor with only one very tiny dent in one of the speaker grills which is easily repairable. These speakers are great with clear sound and plenty of power.

My music source right now is only from a Delphi SkyFi2 XM satellite radio using a stereo docking adaptor. I was concerned when the box arrived with a dent in one side. I installed them under the eves of my patio horizontally rather than vertically to be able to aim the music for the desired coverage. Absolutely do not hesitate to buy these speakers. I was absolutely blown away - and so were the rest of my friends. I put a pair of these on my back deck, and connected it to my Yamaha RX-V3900's second zone. I'm no audiophile, but I am a music lover. I also have the suggested in-wall speakers in a 5.1 surround sound setup in my living room - another fantastic performer. The sound is warm and full.
