This is a great nail. I have not had any problems with the nails or the company.
Shipped two boxes of nails in small box with little or no padding. Better of buying them local at lowes Shipped them US parcel post. Most nails we broken.
# rating because of cost. Way too much for 500 nails, but what are you gonna do if you got to have them. I have to agree with everyone on cost. I bought some 31/2" back in 2005 and they cost a lot also, $34.00 for 500. Have not tried them yet, but they better work real well. Since Amazon is the one selling these nails, I have to ding them on the price, even with Free Shipping.
These smaller nails also didn't survive shipping quite as well and so there were some nails that broke off the sheets and couldn't be used. I got these for nailing 1/2 inch CDX plywood sheathing for a small shed. On the most part they worked well, but occasionally at the end of a sheet the feed would jam up requiring to slide back the spring lock, adjust the nails and release. I would use them again regardless. I didn't have this problem with the larger 3 1/2 inch nails of the same manufacturer.
nail quality was good. check around internet before you buy. way way too much money for 500 nails. you can buy 2500 for double the price of these.
