User Comments about the MK Diamond 158252 MK-145 1/2-Horsepower 4-1/2-Inch Wet Tile Saw

Stability is good. Power is great. But the 4" blades work okay. The only thing is that 4 1/2" blades are not readily available (at least not at my Home Depot). This little saw works great. The rail is a little flimsy and can be sticky to move around, but other than that it performs well. Thanks for a great product. Cleanability and water-tightness is very good.

this little saw did all that and more, i even used it on a round ceramic sink pedestal where the holes were too small for the waste line. at this price i figured this saw should just about get this job done before it stopped working. ONE gripe its the measuring guide its paper stuck on plastic that will be wet, figure out what comes next. I agree with some its a little messy with the water but hey if you are cutting tiles the place could not have been in any condition to receive people any how. i needed to do a DIY project in the bathroom and needed a saw that can cut larger tiles and also to work cuts around objects in my way. this saw performed like a champ. This guide should have been molded into the plastic. if this saw were to break down now it would whould have paid for itself many times over already.

Limited to cuts under 8" because of the way the fence is attached.4. The fence is poorly designed and manufactured - the tabs broke off in the first week of use. While this is a functional basic wet-saw, it has a number of drawbacks:1. Cheap Chinese crap plastic and poor industrial design.2. Hard to find this size of replacement blade,Next time I would pay more and buy a 7" wet saw with the motor and blade above a sliding table. The blade will only cut "soft" clay tile - don't even try to cut porcelain.3.

it fits the bill for me. I got the saw because I was doing 18x18 inch tile and needed a table saw to cut something that big. This little fella did the job fine and is still working, however it is small, plastic, and pretty weak and I doubt it will last for several more jobs. plus at the price I got it for it was cheaper than renting one. I won't use this saw unless I am making large cuts that my regular saw can't do, so for that kind of job and the infrequency of it's use.

I like the saw very mch. The only problem is that it is hard to adjust, but I knew that was the case before I bought it.
