I had this product for years.loved it. It is a bright light and easy to recharge. That is why I wanted a second one.

Arrived new on time. Quality Makita product wish I had gotten it earlier. No problems using 9.6 volt battery.

That is assuming that you have the required 9.6V batteries already. It provides a good beam, but as has been noted by other reviewers it does seem a bit flimsy.

I wanted to upgrade the drill and to find good use for what I already had. If you have the right batteries and a charger, this is a great flashlight. Someone stole my drill that used the same battery. This flashlight fit my needs to a "T". I had 2 extra batteries and a charger.
