I bought three of these boxes, and had no trouble. I do end up using the 3/4 and 1 inch the most so will buy Senco in those sizes. They did not come broken into pieces, as some here suggest. I have had no jams with the senco brand.
I thought it would be nice to have a variety pack for sizes I don't use often, but they are in such small pieces I can't see the arrows to know which way to put them in the gun. Don't buy these. They are not packaged well and broke into 2,000 pieces during shipping and aren't usable. For the price you would thik they could do a better job with packaging. Buy the Porter Cable brand, they have a piece of paper in the packaging that prevent the pins from rattling around and breaking apart.
I found the AccuSet Micro Pins, exactly what I wanted, and didn't have to settle for a substitute or run around to stores looking for this item. Thanks,Bob
Exactly what I wanted, but I felt that the shipping was too high.
The advantage of a variety pack is that it gives you an assortment of these micro pins, so that you can check out what length you might need for a project, or which length pin you want to purchase in full packs. They work perfectly in my cheap pinner, and I know from a professional shop that they are excellent in a Porter Cable. It is quite expensive per-pin to buy them this way, however. Mine came intact -- not split into small fragments.
