User Comments about the Makita AN611 1-1/4-Inch to 2-1/2-Inch Coil Siding Nailer

well designed, compact, easy to use. I expect this tool to perform even better in cedar and other woods. The nail carriage is plastic and may not survive a drop but the gun is strong with subtle depth of drive adjustment.easily correctly sets nails in fiber cement trim and siding.

I strongly recommend the Makita AN611 to you if you own an air compressor and have a large siding project. For five years I have been putting up clapboards on my house (summers only) by hand. I bought the Makita at a local Tool Hauz, which sells primarily to roofers and other pros. It has already paid for itself several times over in labor costs vs nailing by hand. I've been using it for two years now, and have put thousands of nails through it without a malfunction.

Great product. The belt hook is a great asset. It has worked flawlessly for the last 2 months. Nice to use a product that works as its suppose to.

I bought this siding gun after reading everything I could. We've sided 2 homes so far without a hitch. Ablolutely no surprises.

This gun rocks. All the features make it a tool I will not part with ever. I bought it based on a few reviews I read and it far exceeded what I expected.
